Mutlular Thermal Hotel

An Integrated Landscape Design Inspired by Water and Relaxation

Category

Landscape Project

Date

December 2023

Role

Landscape Concept Project

The Mutlular Thermal Hotel landscape project is thoughtfully designed to create a harmonious and tranquil atmosphere, where the calming presence of water becomes the central design element. The project features three distinct pools, including a thermal pool, which serve as the focal point of the landscape. The overall design strategy revolves around the seamless integration of water, planting, and carefully designed relaxation spaces to offer guests a refined and peaceful experience.

Pool-Centric Design with Organic Transitions

Rather than opting for large, monolithic pool structures, the design introduces planting areas within the pools to soften the edges and create a more natural flow. This approach not only enhances the aesthetic quality but also provides a more intimate and immersive experience. The pools are designed with varying levels, adding visual depth and creating distinct spatial zones within the water environment.

Relaxation and Privacy through Layered Planting

The planting design plays a key role in defining the atmosphere of the landscape. Carefully selected plant species are used to create a sense of calm and seclusion, with lush greenery providing a soft visual contrast to the water’s reflective surface. Between the pool areas and the surrounding cafés, planting buffers have been introduced to offer privacy and reduce noise, ensuring that both relaxation and social interaction can coexist without disruption.

Seamless Integration of Social and Private Spaces

Around the pools, strategically placed cafés provide comfortable seating areas where guests can unwind while enjoying views of the water and the surrounding landscape. In some areas, the design introduces private relaxation zones through the use of structural and natural elements, creating intimate pockets where guests can retreat from the more active social spaces.

To further enhance comfort and usability, pergolas have been integrated into the design, offering shaded areas that allow guests to relax comfortably, even during peak sun hours. The pergolas, designed with a clean and modern aesthetic, complement the overall architectural language of the hotel while providing functional value.

Architectural and Natural Harmony

The overall landscape design reflects a sophisticated balance between structured architectural forms and organic natural elements. The combination of water, planting, and built elements creates a cohesive environment where every design choice reinforces a sense of calm and elegance. The use of elevation changes within the pool design enhances spatial dynamics, offering varied perspectives and enriching the sensory experience for guests.
